Jewelry Workshop at the Forge – Learn Silversmithing with Feministsmith
Do you want to learn silversmithing and create your own jewelry from scratch?
In this jewelry course at the Forge in the warehouse area on Norra Skeppsbron in Gävle, you will get to try traditional techniques in goldsmithing and silversmithing – and design your own jewelry.
During the course, you will learn to saw, file, forge, drill, solder, grind, and polish
– craft skills used by professional goldsmiths.
We mainly work with recycled silver, but sometimes also with gold.
The course is suitable for both beginners and those with some experience in jewelry making.
You will create a ring or a pendant where you learn all the basic steps,
or you can work from your own idea.
You will receive individual guidance whether you are a beginner or have previous experience.
You work at your own pace, and we support each other along the way.

Welcome to a silversmithing course with soul
At the Forge, you get more than just a jewelry course – here, there is time, space, and room to create something of your own.
Terms
You register by paying the course fee of 2900 SEK. Registration is binding once the registration fee is paid and is non-refundable (administrative fee).
In case of course interruption due to illness, a medical certificate is required, and the already used course time will be charged proportionally; the registration fee is non-refundable.
If you cancel before the course starts due to illness, a medical certificate is required. In that case, the full course fee will be refunded except for the registration fee.
Registration is ongoing until the course is fully booked. You can register even after the last registration date if there are still places available or cancellations.
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the Distance Selling Act (2005:59), you have the right to withdraw your course registration within 14 days from the day we confirm your registration.
Once the course has started, the right of withdrawal no longer applies. If you wish to cancel your course in accordance with the right of withdrawal, you must notify us by email no later than 14 days after we have confirmed/reserved your place.
If you have already paid any fee, please provide your personal details, the date and name of the course, as well as the bank and bank account number where the refund should be sent.
The full amount paid, including the registration fee, will then be refunded.
If you interrupt a started course, you are obliged to pay the full course fee.
Cancelled Course/Changed Times
In case of acute illness or low participant numbers, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the course.
If the course is cancelled, the full amount including the administrative fee will be refunded.
The participant is responsible for missed sessions and cannot be offered compensation or another course session if this occurs.
Please note that the participant is responsible for accident insurance in case of injury during the course.
We reserve the right for any typographical errors and changes.
