Collaboration since 2019

My collaboration with FATTA began in 2019 when I created a collection of silver jewelry where all proceeds went directly to their important work. This is what FATTA wrote at the launch in 2019:– We chose Feministsmith because of her great commitment, but also because she uses her talent to spread important messages with her cool jewelry, says Kitty Bardler from FATTA.– I feel incredibly honored to take on the assignment and carry the baton from Johanna. I hope the new collection in recycled silver will be just as popular and thus raise funds so FATTA can continue to grow and achieve even greater things!, says Nathalie Wåhlin. The new piece can be worn as an earring, necklace, and brooch.– When I started refining the idea, I wanted the piece to have multiple uses. It became a 3-in-1 piece, so you can easily vary the jewelry according to your style for the day. With that, I hope more people will be able to wear the piece every day and thereby spread the message to more, says Nathalie Wåhlin. The new jewelry is adorned with the words “Fatta” and “consent.”– I have chosen to create slightly smaller pieces than previous Fatta collections but still with a clear message. My idea is that more people will be able to wear the jewelry daily and thereby make a statement and highlight FATTA’s work and spark discussions about the consent law and how it works, says Nathalie Wåhlin.– It feels powerful and incredibly exciting to launch this piece and collaboration. Feministsmith has long been a strong force and ally in the feminist struggle, says FATTA’s chairperson Olivia Björklund Dahlgren.

About FATTA

Fatta is a non-profit membership association for everyone who wants to engage against sexual violence and for consent in practice and legislation. A society free from sexual violence – that is what Fatta fights for. Through lectures, campaigns, and advocacy work, we deliver a clear message: Sweden needs a culture of consent now.

About the Consent Law

On July 1, 2018, Sweden introduced a consent law. A law that states that anything other than a yes is a no. Since its inception, Fatta has actively worked to make this a reality and helped to push it through.

Consent means voluntary participation expressed through words or actions. Consent marks the boundary between what is sex and what is assault. Sex is an interaction based on respect and mutuality where consent should be a given. Without consent, it is assault and therefore a crime.

ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION FOR FATTA

This year, FATTA is celebrating 10 years, and I have had the incredible honor of creating a commemorative collection!

The collection features a bold statement ring with FATTA! deeply engraved in black on the band.

The first 10 orders will receive a unique numbering for the collection.

There is also a bracelet with a round silver charm engraved with FATTA! in black. The bracelet is hand-knotted in FATTA’s 10th anniversary color PURPLE and fits all sizes as it can be easily adjusted.

Both pieces will be sold in a limited edition until December 31, 2023.

You can purchase the jewelry directly here in my webshop or in FATTA’s own webshop. Of course, all proceeds go entirely to FATTA and their work to create a culture of consent. The donation is the same no matter where you choose to shop.

So join in supporting FATTA! and their tremendous work to stop sexual violence.

Together, we can make a difference!
