It is patriarchy and capitalism that have made men believe we want gifts and praise, partly to make money but also to distract from what this day is really about!
On March 8th, we women want to focus on the fight for equal rights and the inequality that exists in society!
So let’s organize, stand on the barricades, attend demonstrations, sewing circles, lectures, women’s parties, exhibitions—let us be free!
