{"product_id":"livmoder-halsband","title":"Uterus Necklace","description":"The uterus consists of numerous muscles and is often referred to as the strongest muscle group in a woman’s body. The two muscle groups most important for a potential pregnancy and childbirth are the upper muscles of the uterine body and the lower muscles near the cervix. The uterus has openings both upwards towards the fallopian tubes and downwards towards the vagina. It can be likened to a balloon, with muscular walls forming a cavity; these muscular walls then lead into a canal, the cervix. The cervix opens into the upper part of the vagina. If you reach far back inside the vagina, you can feel the cervix (the external os), the outermost part of the cervix, which feels like a small round bump. The size of the uterus can be compared to that of a hen’s egg; during a pregnancy, it will grow and multiply in size many times over.
